We’re not just a hospital; we’re a Level 6 mission hospital under the Coptic Orthodox Church, which is basically the granddaddy of all churches. It was founded by St. Mark, the guy who penned the second gospel, way back in the year 61 A.D. Yep, you heard that right, more than two thousand years ago! That’s like the prehistoric era of hospitals.

And here’s the fun part: “Copt” means Egyptian. So we’re basically the cool descendants of the ancient Egyptians, the ones who were hanging out with pharaohs and building pyramids and stuff. They converted to Christianity thanks to our buddy St. Mark.

We’re right along Ngong Road, next to China Centre Place in Nairobi. You can’t miss us; we’re the modern 250-bed facility that’s as snazzy as a catwalk show in ancient Alexandria.
