Kianda School Logo And Emblem

The school emblem is composed of a palm tree representing tropical Africa, a profound valley, reflecting the meaning of "Kianda" in various Bantu languages, and an illuminating fire symbolizing a hearth—a representation of the warmth that women contribute to both the home and society.

Guided by the school motto "In Opere et Veritate," which translates to "In deed and in truth" in Latin, Kianda School draws inspiration from the Bible verse 1 John 3:18: "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
