PC Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute (PCKTTI) is a government-accredited public institution located in Nairobi, Kenya. Established in 1979, the institute began as a Technical Secondary School with an initial enrollment of 160 students. The vision for the institution was inspired by Kenya’s founding father, the late President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
The land on which the institute stands was donated by local elders and consolidated in 1958 as trust land, originally reserved for the future development of Kinyanjui Memorial High School. This was in honor of the late Paramount Chief Kinyanjui wa Gathirimu, who led the region from 1893 to 1929.
In 1987, PC Kinyanjui was upgraded to a fully-fledged technical training institute. It is now accredited by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and offers a broad array of certificate and diploma courses. The institution is led by Mrs. Lucy M. Anampiu, who serves as the current Chief Principal.
